The 5th Year of Showhouse: A Look Back at Our History

2017 marks the 5th year of ShowHouse Santa Fe. We'd like to take this opportunity to look back at our history and marvel in just how far we have come in such a short period of time.

In 2013, our co-founders David Naylor and Jennifer Ashton had an idea to bring together the Santa Fe design community and a community cause. They wanted to bring to life something that would showcase the amazing talent of local designers and at the same time support the growth of a local non-profit that was striving to benefit Santa Fe.

ShowHouse Santa Fe was born.

A single house would be taken over by a group of designers all working on different spaces but focused around a singular theme. There would be a Gala Opening followed by Home Tour Weekends all to raise money to put back into the community thru the wonderful organization Dollars 4 Schools,  a local organization that funds programs from requests by teachers and principals in the Santa Fe Public Schools, the New Mexico School for the Arts, Santa Fe Indian School, and New Mexico School for the Deaf.
