Chef Sean Sinclair

Originally from Tijeras New Mexico, Sean Sinclair has been visiting Santa Fe his entire life.  So,  when the Executive Chef position at The Inn and Spa at Loretto opened up, Sinclair jumped at the chance to make the move to Santa Fe.  His love for cooking started young, learning family recipes in his Grandmother’s kitchen as a child.  Sinclair attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Portland Oregon, where his love for the locavore style of cooking took root.  After a 5 year stint working in some of Portland’s top restaurants Sean returned home to New Mexico to be at the helm of Albuquerque’s Farm & Table. Under his watch as Executive Chef Farm & Table was voted “Best Restaurant in Albuquerque”, by USA Today.

Striving to perfect his craft, Sinclair moved out to rural Virginia into a Sous Chef position at The Inn At Little Washington. The 2 Michelin star, AAA-5 star and Forbes 5 Diamond hotel and restaurant pushed his passion and there he refined his skills under the tutelage of 5 time James Beard winner  Executive Chef Patrick O’Connell.

Sinclair Lives his life by his personal mantra : “ There are no problems, only Solutions”.

Sinclair is an avid fly fisherman and loves to spend time clearing his mind on the rivers.  As well as fishing, he also loves spending time with his new wife Katey and their dog Marigold.
