Chef José Rodriguez has a strong connection with the local culture in Santa Fe. He grew up in the kitchen, cooking authentic Mexican cuisine with his mother and grandmother. In 1990, he started his culinary calling at one on of Santa Fe’s fine dining institutions, Coyote Café. His hard work and creativity did not go unnoticed and he was quickly promoted and began perfecting his craft. His career is one of diversity with many local influences which drives his passion for originality and reinvention. Chef Rodriguez, unifies multiple elements of a menu to create unique experiences. He changes the La Casa Sena menu seasonally, incorporating local ingredients and brings guests to the table, to enjoy Santa Fe’s modern Southwestern cuisine.

We feature New American West cuisine, inspired by New Mexican influences and seasonal ingredients. We also offer an award-winning wine list and a spectacular patio and outdoor bar. Our singing waitstaff performs nightly in La Cantina, and our wine shop is the only place downtown to purchase fine wine and spirits.
