Chef Cristian Pontiggia

Lambardy native, Executive Chef Cristian Pontiggia is the proud recipient of many awards. In addition to working at two Michelin Star awarded restaurants in Europe, he has received several awards for cooking and wine knowledge from the Chaine des Routisseurs.  Chef Pontiggia and the El Nido family are proud to support Dollars4Schools through Showhouse Santa Fe.  Chef Cristian is an active member f the community and volunteers as a Cooking With Kids Super Chef.  At El Nido, we believe the future of our children and their education is a worthy investment.

El Nido's dining experience is influenced by the rhythm of the seasons, local products and the culinary techniques of Italy.  The dining room features an energetic open kitchen with a wood-burning oven and an open-fire grill taking center stage.  Pastas are hand crafted daily and our pizzas are fresh takes on the classics. Meats, fish, and vegetables are kissed by fire over open embers, celebrating the Italian tradition of cooking "alla"brace".
